Savoy Hotel Illustrations
A huge honor to be asked to put these three original artworks together for the new look Savoy Hotel in the heart of the Strand in London. This hotel is so steeped in history so you can imagine how pleased I was to have these permanent pieces on display in the newly named Gallery entrance to the main restaurant
FADED SEASIDE GLAMOUR EXHIBITION
Delighted to be exhibiting paintings again, the first since my Greenwich show Stories From The North from 2017. Faded Seaside Glamour consists of 8 new works dedicated to the theme of what happens to these coastal resorts, once favoured by English tourists once the summer season ends. These figureless environments provide a more thought provoking set of images to make us question how much we really view nostalgia over reality. Runs from 20th-26th August with a P.V on Sat 24th from 3-6pm

It’s been a while since I created some new reportage style work but I thought it fitting to make some of my new home town of Ramsgate on the South East coast. Places that people would immediately recognise plus some lesser known spots that are off the beaten track. Five brand new works that feature in a local gallery space McGillan & Woodell.

So pleased with the results in connection with Manju Patel’s vegetarian cookbook. I was kindly asked back at the beginning of this year to illustrate both the cover & the inside chapter headers. Manju is the oldest head chef & runs the award winning family restaurant situated in Brighton. The book was published on October 10th & is available from Ryland, Peters & Small.

Delighted to be working with Hodder & Stoughton in collaboration with Mike Gayle, the best selling author of Half A World Away. The cover comprised of over 20 spot illustrations that helped give a flavour to the essence of the novel that centres around Jess. Inspired by a box of mementos found abandoned in a skip following a house clearance, The Museum of Ordinary People is a thought-provoking and poignant story of memory, grief, loss and the things we leave behind. Available in hardback from July 7th.
Cosmopolitan Magazine 'The Women We Lost This Year' Illustrations
It’s been a long time since an art director has approached me with a painting commission but I could’nt be more humbled with these three depictions for this month’s Cosmopolitan Magazine in connection with the one year anniversary of Sarah Everard’s death & other U.K women we have lost this year to male violence. A serious topic that deserved a simple but effective idea, to depict scenes that women leave behind.

Fantastic to be invited to colaborate on this special edition of The Observer New Review Magazine in connection with the film director Edgar Wright. His new film Last Night In Soho encaptulates all that is unique about a certian part of the city & I was asked to illustrate a map of the area with a nod to all the iconic films & images that had gone before.
